      Leona G. Fitzgerald and Ronald L. Rhynders Jr. opened Fitzgerald and Rhynders Funeral Home Inc. in July of 2009.

      Leona is a lifelong resident of Hyde Park, NY. After 15 years of  employment with the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office Leona went on to earn her New York State Funeral Directors License. She brings over twenty years experience as a funeral director and manager.

      Ronald L. Rhynders Jr. a lifelong Red Hook, NY resident, earned his New York State Funeral Director’s License in 1993. Ron has over 17 years of experience as a funeral director and manager in funeral service. He has worked throughout Dutchess County for various funeral homes.     

     Our thirty seven combined years of experience allow us to provide service to all faiths and denominations for pre arrangement counseling, traditional burial and cremation requests.
